Wednesday, May 14, 2008…
Jeffery is with Olivia at the hospital, she is her usual sunny self, she says to him eventually I'll be able to go to these things on my own. He says I know…I marked the date off on my calendar. She says aren't you glad we aren't married anymore. He says well I think everyone should try it at least once…now I did so I never have to do it again. ( Let's hope not)!! She says glad I helped you.
Harley is going through files at the station, she makes a discovery.
Mallet and Marina are flirting, Harley walks in. She expresses that is concerned that Gus was unable to solve the drug busts b/c there was a dirty cop somewhere tipping off the dealers. Mallet tells her to let him handle it, as to not cause an uproar in the department if nothing happened. She agrees.
Dinah races around calling for Hilda; she has misplaced her papers, bag, and PDA. Remy hands them to her. They talk and she gets him to change and come into work with her.
Olivia is seething…Jeffery tells her to calm down, says you can't raise your blood pressure. She says I had a heart transplant…let the kid with the bad tonsils wait. She then goes on to give a detailed list of everything she hates about hospitals….she will be doing this for the rest of her life...she complains. Jeffery tells her she might not have all that long to go if she keeps this up. He says she needs a positive attitude… (which is like trying to convince a cat that it really does want a bath)… he tells her she will really be "done" then. She tells him to shut up. He says look someone can call you a cab when you are done…good luck. He leaves her.
Rafe and Natalia are at Company…it is time for school. She sees he has a picture, she thinks it is of Daisy. He says no…stop, she sees it is the house Gus bought them. Natalia tries to tell him this is just the way things are, he says he doesn't work for him. He wants the house back. He storms off…he gets on his cell, calls Ava, and says he needs to talk to her mother.
Olivia's appointment is over, she is sitting down, up comes Rafe. She says you should be in school; your mother won't like this. They argue over the house…she says she did his mom a favor…he says it isn't fair, she tells him lots of things aren't fair, you are too young to understand. Natalia shows up and tries to break it up…Olivia says Rafe I knew him longer then you doesn't that count? He says she is crazy…Natalia says yeah I know she is now get. The doctor comes out...Olivia looks flustered.
Remy comes out dressed in a suit…Dinah likes it.
Marina is on the phone trying to secure dinner reservations. She and Harley get into it. She says Harley is not Internal Affairs…she doesn't want the force against them. Harley says she can't let it just go. Marina then says you can't tie up all of Gus's loose ends just b/c your life is falling apart. Marina feels bad suddenly…Harley looks like she was just slapped in the face.
Mallet looks out his window, then shuts the blinds…he is in his office. He begins shredding papers like a mad man, while making sure no one is watching.
Natalia gets Rafe some water and tells him to stay away from Olivia..no matter what!!
Jeffery has come back to Cedars, he sees Natalia sitting. He sees her drinking something and says looks like you could use something stronger. She smiles, and says she has a crazy life…she just wants it to be normal…she misses Gus. He tells her it will take time, he sits beside her… (totally sexy look of concern on his face) .. He asks how Rafe is, she says he is suffering. He misses his dad; he only had him for a short time. She says she feels like she lost Gus and now she is losing her son. Then she smiles and asks ...so…how are you? He smiles back and says Olivia was driving me crazy before, so I left her here, but I have decided to be the adult one about it and pick her up. He says maybe I was too hard on her…Natalia says …oh, I doubt that. She then offers to drive her home for him…. Adds we could chat. Jeffery looks at her for a moment then says …ok, I'd really appreciate it, I have a really busy day. He says she doesn't have a lot of people…Natalia says no problem…take care.
Mallet is still shredding papers…Harley comes in, she wants the files back, he scoops them up and says …just let me handle it, I'll contact Jeffery. She says ok…sure.
The doctor tells Olivia there is no sign of rejection, so we will see you next week, he leaves, and she says…and the next week, and the next week…Natalia walks in. Olivia asks...what is this some kind of mother/son tag team or something.
Marina walks up to Dinah and Remy, she says she is here on official police business…(why when I look at her sometimes to I see that cop, that Barney guy from the Andy Griffith show)… Remy says awww…great, she says no not you, you, looks at Dinah. There are a list of noise complaints from the construction, and bushes not trimmed to code complaints…she just "doesn't fit in" with the neighborhood. Dinah says there are no other houses for a mile…she says if this is about Mallet she is sick of these "little girl" games. She tells Marina to call her lawyers; they could use a good laugh. She leaves, says coming...Remy, he looks at Marina and walks away. She just stands there.
Harley catches Jeffery going into Company. She stops him, he says look I'm really hungry, he sees the bag in her hands and says so must the cops who are waiting for that be..she says no this is for me. I forget to eat sometimes… (which could explain some of what comes out her mouth when she speaks)… She asks if Mallet called him yet. He says no, she says oh…ah …well he will be. Jeffery asks why, she says b/c of the possible dirty cop. He says dirty cop…she says yes I figured out why Gus's cases weren't solved…every time he went on a bust, the drugs were gone…Jeffery adds b/c someone tipped off the dealers. Mallet says he was gonna look into it, and handle it, but he could use your help… after all Gus helped you, you owe that to him. He says Harley how many other cases are you working besides Gus…she says I'll call you, keep me in the loop.
(SECOND HALF)
Mallet and Marina are having a picnic lunch. His cell rings…it is Jeffery...he tells Mallet he ran into Harley, he asks if Mallet sees any connections in the case. He says yes, Gus just had a lot on his plate and got a little sloppy is all. He says he won't bad mouth him. Gus was just stretched too thin is all. Then he says hey did you know Harley has been confined to desk duty, she froze in the field, a panic attack. Jeffery says oh…I didn't know. Mallet assures him, he will keep an eye on things and that Jeffery will be the first one he calls. He says his department has just lost Gus…one of their men, and they don't need any more trouble. Jeffery says ok, I didn't mean to interrupt your lunch. He hangs up…Marina says …well…
Remy is with Dinah in her office, he says he is impressed...she shoos his feet off of her desk, and says her father always told her it is important to remember names, people respect that. Her phone rings…she says the chief wants to see…me? She then adds well I do have a one o'clock appointment out of the office. She says oh…six o'clock, yes I can swing that. She looks at Remy and says he wants to see me…today will be a good day.
Marina says Jeffery must have ruined your appetite, I switched dinners with you, and you didn't notice you were eating salad…he says what…and laughs. She starts to ask if he would like to come over later, but a random Frisbee, interrupts the conversation. They get back to the station, and are standing outside. She says she wonders if the other day was just b/c they were drinking, and should she ask about them seeing each other again… he says 'hec yeah you should, and hec' yeah, I'd like too, but…not tonight, I need to take care of something first.
Natalia and Olivia are in the parking lot. Natalia says at first she only wanted to drive her home so that she could scream in her face, but then she realized Olivia was already being punished by having to carry all of this anger around with her. Olivia replies…you are probably right ...then she looks at Natalia's car and says does that thing run. Natalia says I can call you a cab. Olivia says no…I'm sure you can drive and lecture me at the same time.
Jeffery is on his way out when Rafe shows up. He says he needs a lawyer…Jeffery says, well…I'm on my way out. Rafe says look I know, but this will only take a minute…please. Jeffery looks at him, hesitates, but says ok…just a minute though. Rafe says she can't really do that…can she? Just take our house from us…if no one else will fight for it…I'll fight for it. Jeffery says Rafe your mother is lucky to have a son like you looking out for her. He says this is not for her…Jeffery says…after pausing for a moment…alright; I'll look into it for you. I have somewhere to be now, looks at his watch, but I'll get back to you. Rafe smiles and says alright…cool.
(Jeffery is such a good guy, you could see he really felt for this kid, it was a nice scene).
Harley is at her house on her cell…she says no Cyrus I can't see you tonight, I promised the boys I'd spend time with them. She has to go, someone is there. She says why Jeffery O'Neill did you find something…if you did I love you. He says I think you are right, but you had better let the department handle it. You should stay out of it, she thinks a minute, then says you are probably right…she smiles and asks…so…what did you find…

Harley is back at the station, she says to Marina Gus was set up, and he doesn't deserve it!
Dinah sets the table…Mallet can be heard saying why did I get the grand tour. He stops when he sees Dinah…he says wow, are you on a date…she says you tell me. She asks if it is all too much for him…he says no, no not at all.
There is a little music montage as Olivia sits outside of the house that Gus bought.
"The harder you look for me…the less you will find me…"
She sits down outside.
Rafe is sitting by the gazebo, Natalia walks up, he says yes ma' m I cut class. She says you sure did. He says she gets everything…Natalia says it only seems that way, but it is not true. She tells him that there are a lot of ways they are better off. He says I just want the house. Natalia says…you miss your dad, you need him, so do I..I'm so sorry. He stops her…says it is not your fault. She says come on it is pizza and a movie night. He says but I cut class…she smiles and says sometimes you just need to break the rules…I get to pick the movie though…they walk off together.
Harley is sitting on the floor at the station; Officer Wolfe brings her more boxes. He says who died and made you in charge of Internal Affairs. Marina says Gus died…he says you are seriously gonna back her after what she did to you…Marina says I'm backing Gus. He walks away…she smiles at Harley and says are you ready to get started.
Dinah light some candles…Mallet says…nice…she sits, he rubs her back and shoulders, then apologizes, she says no…it felt great. He asks how this all works, is there a menu…she says you can have anything you want, I have a staff…she laughs. You can even have a little of everything. H4e says he isn't hungry, she says…you…not hungry. He tells her he has things on his mind…he needs to make things right and get things in order… it isn't about you…but someone else. Dinah says …Marina…you are here to tell me that you want to sleep with her, and you want my permission. He says no…it is not about her…it is about me, I need your help….
TOMORROW…

ALAN ASKS GUS TO KEEP AN EYE ON BILL.
NATALIA FREAKS OUT OVER THIS, BUT RAFE SAYS HE IS INTERESTED.
NATALIA TURNS TO OLIVIA FOR HELP WITH ALAN AND RAFE.
